Easter Sewing

What a nice surprise to see how Connie Palmer used two of my patterns for Easter Outfits! The romper was made from pattern #133 and the dress was made from pattern #131. The embroidery is "Chicks and Bows" by Kathy Drew Designs. Kits for both outfits are available from Farmhouse Fabrics.

Have you started your Easter sewing or are you in total denial that it is only about 6 weeks away? I would like to know!

I'm almost done smocking a bishop and I'm starting a smocked yoke dress when I finish this one.

My daughter fell in love with a sample dress at the fabric store we love. It is a combo of several patterns - only one of which I am sure about, but we have all the fabrics washed & ready for whenever Mamaw gets brave enough to put her patterns together and cut something out! I plan on cutting out some batiste for a slip first so I will know the sizing for the grandgirl. I've got the plan, now to find the time. There is no smocking on this one (count me sad)only sewing. I smocked a shoulder to waist for her Easter dress last year. She really looked like Spring in it.

Total denial that it's 6 weeks away and that it's the last Easter outfit I will be making my sweet boy who is 5! I've loved sewing for him so much and he even loves it too!
I enjoy you blog!
