Because I was not sure if this was the right fabric, I started out one step at a time. I experimented with the tiny tucks to see if they would stitch and press in neatly. Next I tried making the bias tube for the the Bridging (Faggoting) around the collar. Once I decided that the results were what I wanted I continued on with the outfit.
I just LOVE this bubble!
ReplyDeleteThat is a darling bubble. I usually reserve imperial for those things that will be worn a lot but not truly special. It is nice to have a few things that do not need to be ironed, but the process of ironing is nice as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Michie',
ReplyDeleteThis little bubble is so sweet. Have wanted to try this classic cotton....is it a broadcloth weight or a bit like a "heavier" batiste?
Gwen
The fabric feels just like Imperial Broadcloth and although it is 100% cotton it did not wrinkle terribly.
