I am taking a little break for a couple of weeks. I will be having what we refer to around here as, " girl surgery." I plan to use this time to watch my favorite old movies, do some reading, and maybe a little hand stitching. I'm sure that I will get tired of the recovery process, but my reaction to the news from the doctor was, "finally!"
While I was gathering my movies, books and sewing supplies together, I also composed a few blogs that will post during this time. I wouldn't want your sewing inspiration to fall to the wayside!

Michie, I hope your surgery goes well with a quick and easy recovery. I am planning to take one or both of your upcoming classes at Beth's and will anticipate these classes even more after having met you in February.
